Obituary

Joseph Michael Jacob, "Joe", age 53, of West Bend, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his family, after a year long battle with brain cancer. Joe was born on March 8, 1962 in Salix, Pennsylvania to Mike Jacob and Marylou (nee Brennan) Kadinger . Joe was raised in West Bend and attended West Bend West High School. He met Pam Skinner in high school, and they were united in marriage on August 13, 1983 at St. Frances Cabrini in West Bend. After their marriage, they moved to southern Illinois where Joe began his career in telecommunications. In 1986 they moved back to West Bend where they raised 3 beautiful daughters. At the time of his death, Joe was employed as the Director of Advanced Technical Support at AT&T.

Joe enjoyed golfing, tennis, gambling, and spending time with his family and friends. Joe also took pleasure in coaching his daughters' softball and soccer teams in their elementary and middle school years. His involvement also included volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Toys for Tots. Joe was a man that loved to help others, whether it was with his knowledge on a vast amount of topics or his ability to figure out how to fix almost anything. He will forever be remembered as a wonderful father, caring husband, and really, really nice guy.

Joe is survived by Pam, his wife of 31years, daughters Brittany (Mark) Critchlow, Samantha (Nick Mladenovich), and Ashley; his sister Kim (Paul) Schwai; brother-in-law Dave (Rita) Skinner; nephews, Luke (Laura) Skinner, Jesse (Rachel) Skinner, Austin (Michaelene) Schwai, Brandon Schwai; and other relatives and friends. Joe was preceded in death by his mother and his nephew Benjamin Schwai.
