Joseph Walter Hefter was born on July 3, 2006 to Cheyenne (née Griffin) and Neil Hefter. Joe died unexpectedly on June 30, 2025. He should be remembered for his beautiful smile, quick wit and his unconditional loyalty to friends. Joe loved and excelled at snowboarding, known for his unique way of crossing the finish line. He never outgrew his brotherly teasing for his older brother Alex, who wouldn't have it any other way. Joe worked for MSA landscaping at the time of his passing while building his own landscape business, Anything Outdoors Service.

Joe is survived by his loving parents and big brother Alexander (friend Lorelei Davis), Grandparents, Lori and Donald Griffin, Lorraine and Thomas Hefter, Uncle Dean Hefter, Aunt Andree' Griffin, Cousins Owen Hefter and Hudson Otte and many other friends and relatives.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 8, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church (799 St. Paul Dr., Slinger) from 9am until the Funeral Service at 12noon. Interment St. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

The family would like to keep Joe's dream of entrepreneurship alive by starting a memorial fund to assist other young entrepreneurs. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to help others realize their dreams.
