Joseph 'Joe' Gonzales, 54, of West Bend passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 15, 2015.
Joe was born May 17, 1961 in Milwaukee, WI to John Gonzales and Cecilia (Stuettgen) Pryor. He was and will always be a great son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin and will be greatly missed. Joe was independent, strong minded, resilient, serious, and funny when he wanted to be, he had a big heart, and lived life knocking down every challenge brought his way. He has accepted the next step in his journey and is now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last.

Broken Chain: "Little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again."

Joe is survived by his mother, Cecilia Pryor (Donald); brothers and sisters, Maryanne, Linda (Eddie), John Jr. (Jackie), Jim (Carol), Jacqueline, Jeff, Greg (Michelle), Cheryl (Jeff) and Gerry (Jenny); and countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, John and brother, Randy.

A Memorial Service will be held at Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise West Bend, WI) on Thursday, June 25 at 7:00PM with Deacon Mike Koebel presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00PM until the time of service.
