Obituary
Jonathan Zell, 55, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2025, in Slinger, Wisconsin. Jonathan was born on March 29, 1970, in Minnesota and spent his early years in Nebraska before his family settled in Wisconsin.
He attended Ord Senior High and graduated from Fort Atkinson High School. He later pursued his passion for creativity by studying at the Colorado Institute of Art. Jonathan was a gifted artist whose creativity left a lasting impression on those who encountered his work. His love for art was a defining part of who he was, and he found joy in sharing his artwork and passion with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Cheryl Zell and her partner Ron Raabe; his brother Ryan Zell and sister-in-law Emily Zell; & Cameron Hoehn. Jonathan also leaves behind his nephew Max Zell and his longtime best friend Shawn McCulloch and Shawn's wife Tera McCulloch.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Zell.
Jonathan's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May you find eternal peace in the arms of the angels.
