John "Corky" Jeffrey Schwarzl, age 77, passed away on January 7, 2026, at his home in Slinger, Wi. He was born on May 12, 1948, to John and Dorothy Schwarzl.
Corky enjoyed golfing, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Corky is survived by his wife of 42 years, Amy Schwarzl (née Loufek), his stepdaughter, Stephanie Mabry-Haak (Alex), and grandsons Stryker & Coltyn Haak. Also survived by his nephew, Jeff Schuppie (Jennifer); his niece, Kristin Schauer (Dave); sister-in-law, Sarah Bares and brother-in-law, Matthew Loufek; as well as great nieces and nephews.
Corky is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy and his sister, Donna Schuppie (Tom).
Corky was best known for his antics when he owned Corky's Tavern in Hubertus. He was also a retired Milwaukee Police Officer, Private Investigator, and currently worked part-time for Lowe's Automotive.
A Celebration of Corky's life will be held on a later date.
