John M. Neumann, age 93 years of West Bend, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Cedar Lake Health and Rehab.

John was born on October 19, 1920 to John and Pauline (nee Kunkel) in Chicago, IL. He married the late Martha (nee Richter) on December 22, 1946 in Chicago. John was a radio operator in the Army Air Corps, loved bowling and playing pinochle.

John is survived by his sons Larry (Darlene) and Garry. He is further survived by his grandchildren Matthew (Holly), Deanna, Kenneth (Christina), great-granddaughters Madisyn Neumann and Orion Odegard, great-great granddaughter Kara Odegard, sister Dorothy Natzke, brother-in-law Royal W. Natzke, sister-in-law Dorothy Neumann, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Emilie Schultz, wife Martha, brothers Edward, Al, Otto and George.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 5 at 11:00am at Irving Park Chapel (7777 Irving Park, Chicago, IL 60634) with Rev. Royal W. Natzke presiding. Interment to follow service at Irving Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at Irving Park Chapel on Tuesday, November 5 from 10:00 am until time of service (11:00am). Memorials are appreciated to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF)
