John (Jack) O. Hespe was called home to our Lord, passing away peacefully on September 12th, 2021. He was born on December 13th, 1935.

Jack was a unique character with a lot of spunk, sassiness and one-liners in his 85 years.

You will forever be in our hearts, giving all of us so many memories to share, we are so glad his suffering is over with Alzheimer's. But, through it all he always made us laugh with his banter and one-liners.

He is now in the Lord's hands, and we are so grateful to have had so many moments of love and laughs. Yes, he is probably behind the plate already catching a game. Many have said, "You only need to meet him once to fall in love with him".

Jack was employed at Barry Trucking for 34 years, retiring in 1998. He was an avid hardball player for 19 years with the Saukville Saints (1954-1972). Inducted into the Land O Lakes Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996.

Dearest husband of Deborah (Keishian) Hespe for 35 years. Loving father of John (Lorna) Hespe, Annette (James) Schiller, Barbara (Louis) Sippel, Jean (Arthur) Helm, Jacqueline (Anthony) Mastrocola, Edward (Wendy) Hespe and Kelly (Jason) Whitmore. Proud Grandfather of 18. Prouder Great Grandfather of 31 with one more on the way.

Proceeded in Death by his Parents Oscar John & Anna Adela (Mueller) Hespe, the mother of his children Elizabeth M. (Heiser) Hespe, sons Jeffory John and twins Peter Paul & Andrew Anthony, brother and sister in-law James & Patricia Hespe, Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.

A Funeral Service will be at 5:30PM on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday, September 21st from 3:30PM until 5:15PM.
