Bayliss, Jack (John), 83, passed away with grace Sunday, December 08, 2013 at his home in the town of Erin, WI. He was the beloved husband and best friend of 58 years to Betty (nee Barr). Father to Peggy (Dan) Judge, John Bayliss, Katie (Tom Mann) Bayliss, Steve (Kelly) Bayliss, Dave (JoAnn) Bayliss, Paul Bayliss (deceased), Mary (Danny) Jones, and Sara (Mike) Mierow. Grandfather to 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Son of late Al and Marie Bayliss.

Jack graduated from Don Bosco High School in 1949. While he earned his living as a wholesale florist, in later years, true to his calling, he served as a volunteer hospital chaplain with ProHeath Care. Throughout his life, Jack was a dear friend, companion, teacher and inspirational mentor to many. In the last 12 years, his journey with cancer deepened his extraordinary gifts as he walked with others through meditation and compassionate listening. While Jack's enthusiastic presence will be immensely missed, his timeless spirit endures in our hearts.

The visitation will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church (1200 St. Gabriel Way, Hubertus, WI 53033) on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 12:30 PM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Fr. Chuck Hanel presiding.
