Joanne Kathleen Epps "Jo" (nee Backstrom), age 62, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at her home in Campbellsport. She was born on July 10, 1961 in Des Moines, IA to Norman and Marilyn (nee Shepard) Backstrom. Jo loved spending time at the lake and especially loved time with family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors, time in the sun and being a Packer fan!

Jo is survived by her loving-life-partner, Donald Burdick; her children, Lanette (Nate) Seibert, April Stout, Crystal Dalton, Donald Burdick Jr., Austin Hecker, Dave Helgerson, Rick Neuy, Shane Neuy, Kaysi Stout, Maddie Stout; grandchildren, Chase Sebastian, Christian Edwards, Skylar Dalton, Harley, Ashely, Mason and Mickey Helgerson, Jessie, Allie and Elizabeth Neuy, Brittany, Dustin, Jessica and Hailey Burdick. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jo is preceded in death by her parents, husband Leroy Epps, daughter Crystal Rose Barg, brothers Jesse Shepard and Wes Backstrom.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:30AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Phillip Funeral home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor John C. Bass presiding. A visitation will be prior at the funeral home on Saturday, August 5th from 10:00AM until 11:15AM.
