Joanne N. Courtney (nee DeSantis), passed away Sunday July 7, 2019 at the age of 90 years. She was born on in Milwaukee on June 25, 1929 to Louis and Agnes (nee Martinek) DeSantis. She graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee.
On June 17, 1972, Joanne married Thomas Courtney in Milwaukee. She worked with her husband Tom in his insurance agency until they retired and sold the business.

Joanne is survived by nieces; Mary Kollasch, Ginny Kollasch, Vickie Schroeder, nephew Wayne Schroeder, step-children; Noreen (John) Petrie, Laureen (Jim) Kurszewski and Timothy (Stacey) Courtney, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other nieces, relatives, friends and neighbors.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Joanne will be held at 10:00am on Saturday July 13th at St Peter Catholic Church (200 E Washington St. Slinger) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00-9:45am. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
