Joanne Marie Conery (Nee Nicholls) of Jackson WI, age 78, passed away peacefully at Kathy Hospice on November 20, 2015. She was born to Walter and Florida (Nee Poitras) Nicholls on October 24, 1937 in Kingsford, MI and graduated from Kingsford High School in 1955.

Joanne loved baking and being in the kitchen. Nothing brought her more joy than sharing those baked goods. She enjoyed singing and belonged to the Cedarburg Senior Chorus for 10+ years.

Joanne is survived by her children, Lori (Michael) Pohl of Waunakee and Gary Conery of Grafton; 3 grandsons, Andrew (Jenna) Pohl, Erich (Michelle) Pohl and Staff Sergeant Joseph (Stacy) Conery; 3 great-grandchildren, Ella, Elise and Elliot Pohl; special family members, Mike, Dakota and Emily Pohl. She is further survived by 2 brothers, Robert and Walter (Skip) Nicholls; nieces, nephews, and many special friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Marcella, Glada and brother Al.

A Memorial Service will be held in Joanne's honor at 11:30am on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI) with Deacon Ron Schneider presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30am until the time of service.
