Joan R. Pielmeier (nee Hellwig), age 84, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at her home. She was born on June 8, 1932 in Milwaukee to Edward and Irene (nee Wegner) Hellwig. She enjoyed golfing, gardening and cooking for family and friends. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Mark (Kathy), Julie Pielmeier, Karen (Richard) Gromowski, Vicki (James) Kelley, and Dale (Marilyn); grandchildren: Nicole (Vincent) Dueno, Michelle (Michael) Schneider, Sheri (Brandon) Kirchoff, Kristy (Shad) Young, Morgan and Nicholas Dombrowski, Kimberly (Joshua) Giese, Jennifer (Kyle) Uecker, Troy (Danielle) Kedroske, Kyle (Heidi) Kedroske, James III (Meghan) Kelley, Dale II (Samantha Kelly) Pielmeier, Dylan (Katie Sieghold) Pielmeier; step-grandchildren: Cheridy (Jason) Mork, Kathleen Kelley and Wendy (Neal) Omernick; sister-in-law Doris Hoseid; brother-in-law Larry Arbeiter; former daughter-in-law Sandy (Robert) Brenau; 32 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, brothers and sisters-in-law.

The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center West Chapel, 13235 W Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005. The Visitation will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center West Chapel on Thursday, January 26th from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
