Joan A. May (nee Frey), age 90, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at New Perspectives in West Bend. She was born on November 29, 1930 in Burlington, WI to George and Katherine (nee Jung) Frey. Joan enjoyed traveling, gardening, baking, and enjoying time with family and friends.

Joan is survived by her 3 children, Edward (Mary Beth), Deborah Auerbach (Steve), Robert (Elaine); grandchildren, James (Rebecca) Auerbach, Sara, Kristen Keely (Chris), Benjamin (Alysha), Rachael, Kayleigh; great-grandchildren, Connor, Oliver, Emma, Maddie, Will, Henry, Franklin, Ernestine; siblings, Kathleen Thom, Aileen Remer, Phyliss Robers; siblings-in-law, Ruth Horvat, Teresa McCarthy and William McCarthy. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Joan is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward, her parents George and Catherine Frey, her siblings, Dolores Borgo, Mary McNamera, George Frey Jr, and Paul Frey.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 5:30PM on Friday, March 26, 2021 at St. Frances Cabrini) 1025 S. 7th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095) with Fr. Carlos Londono presiding. Visitation will be at church on Friday, March 26th from 4:00PM until 5:15PM. Interment of her urn will be a later date at St. Mary of Tours Cemetery in Franklin, WI.
