Joan A. Brooks (nee Collura), age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2017 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend. She was born on September 2, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI and graduated from Riverside High School. Joan owned Aerobic Dance Exercise Institute. She loved dancing and enjoyed doing her own choreography for her business. For many years, she was an accomplished organist. Joan was also an avid reader and member of the YMCA.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Cyndi) Seefeldt; Laurie (Bill) Sandberg; grandchildren; Vanessa Sandberg, Valerie Stadler, Chad Sandberg; great-grandchildren, Amaya Sandberg, Parker and Tegan Stadler. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Irene Collura (nee McCrank).
A private Graveside Service will take place for Joan at the Washington County Memorial Park.
