Jerald Lyle Hassinger
Age 65 of West Bend passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 14, 2024, at his home. Jerry was born October 3, 1958, in West Bend, the youngest son of the late Walter and Myrtle (nee Soyk) Hassinger. He attended Slinger High School, graduating in 1977. Jerry played football in his high school years. He lived on the farm his entire life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jerry also was on a bowling team, he played at the Slinger Bowl where he met many close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Henry and Augusta (nee Werner) Hassinger and Albert and Louise (Viestedt) Soyk. Jerry is survived by his siblings Karen (Donald) Beine, James (Loren) Hassinger, and Kenneth (Deborah) Hassinger; nieces and nephews Christine (Scot) Schneider, Cheri (Frank) Verhunce, Amy (Nate) Janz, Jamie (Erica) Hassinger, Tracey Hassinger, Sara Hassinger, Jeffrey (Cortney) Hassinger, Madalyn Hassinger, Jaclyn Hassinger, Jennifer Strub, and Rebecca Hassinger.
Jerry always had a smile and was very friendly, he will be sadly missed by great-nieces & great-nephews, many friends, and everyone that knew him.
A celebration of Jerry's Life will be held in the Fall.
