Jenny L. Shurpit (nee Swanke), age 68 years of West Bend, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Samaritan Health and Rehab.

Jenny was born on March 18, 1948 in Ripon to Victor and Merna (nee Hein) Swanke. She attended school in Princeton, WI. Jenny married the late Kenneth J. Shurpit and was employed Prefke Brake Co. for many years. She enjoyed shopping at Goodwill, helping others, playing bingo and cards. Her faith was very important to her and was a previous member at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church.

Jenny is survived by her mother Merna, 8 siblings, nieces, nephews, many in-laws and many friends. Preceded in death by her father and husband Kenneth.

A Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with Chaplain Bernice Towns. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 30 from 12:00 pm until time of service (1:00pm).
