Jeffrey A. Henckel, age 54, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 2, 2016. He was born on November 26, 1961 in Milwaukee, WI to Gerald and Nancy (nee Lubbert) Henckel. Jeffrey enjoyed spending his weekends swimming and boating on Friess Lake, at the home that he remodeled, using his skills and life-long love for carpentry and woodwork. He was strongly devoted to both his wife and his son and spent every minute that he possibly could with them, always making sure to cause them to smile and laugh at his jokes and antics. His love and support for his wife, son and everyone surrounding him truly knew no bounds.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Betty, of thirty years; his son Benjamin; parents Gerald and Nancy Henckel; siblings Daniel, Cheryl, Rick (fiancée Dawn), Terry, Susan (Brian) Antonia, Andrew, Mary (Anthony) Pratley, Karen (Chris) Sackett, Jeremy, Jamie (Chad) Kraemer, Kelly, Jesse, Elizabeth (Jason) Paasch; siblings-in-law David (Debby) Miller, Barbara (Dave) Hendricks, Dennis (Lori) Miller. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents-in-law.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 2:00PM at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church (6869 Wildwood Rd, West Bend, WI 53090) with Pastor Darren Knoll presiding. A visitation will be AT CHURCH from 12:00PM until the time of the service (2:00PM). Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park prior to the visitation at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Shepherd of the Hills (6869 Wildwood Rd, West Bend, WI 53090).
