Jean Elizabeth Zywicki (nee Hartwig), age 73, of West Bend, was Born to Eternal Life surrounded by her children on Friday, November 7, 2014, at The Kathy Hospice. She was born on August 17, 1941, in Milwaukee to Christ and Catherine (nee Schmitt) Hartwig. Jean was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Messmer High School in 1959. She met Donald "Don" Zywicki at a car dealership in Milwaukee where she was a receptionist, and they married on June 18, 1966, at Holy Angels in Milwaukee. Jean was employed as a manager at Rehab Tech in Oak Creek until she retired in 2011.

Jean loved playing cards and going to casinos. She enjoyed going to Trout Lake and Minoqua. Jean also loved being around her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of the Moose Lodge and several card clubs.

Jean is survived by her children Deanna (Vincent) Jablonski of Jackson, Donna (Michael) Green of Wausau and Thomas (Jenny) Zywicki of West Bend; grandchildren Tammy, Travis (Rachel Wyland), McKenzie, Brianna and Christian ; great-grandson Benjamin; siblings Robert (Carolyn) Hartwig, Ruth (Ken) Hintzman, Richard (Janice) Hartwig, James (Kathy) Hartwig and Lynn (Dave) Zelm; brother-in-law Robert (Judy) Zywicki; sister-in-law Betty Stelter, Donna (Bill) Pies, Linda (Jay) Mack and Elaine Zywicki; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law Dominic and Stella Zywicki; sister Kathleen (Ray) Zahn; and brothers-in-law Richard Zywicki and Roy Stelter.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise), West Bend on Wednesday, November 12 at 7:00 PM with Fr. Jerry Repenshek of Holy Angels officiating. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Memorials to the Cancer Research Institute (One Exchange Plaza, 55 Broadway, Suite 1802, New York NY 10006) would be appreciated.
