Jean "Jeannie" "KaKa" M. Klahn (nee Roth), age 74, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at The Kathy Hospice after a long journey with breast cancer. Her strength through it all is something to be admired.

She was born on April 16, 1939 to Melvin and Florence (nee Behr) Roth. She graduated from Glenbeaulah High School Class of '57. She worked at Amity Leather, West Bend Company, Gehls, and Serigraph over the last 30 years. Jean will be remembered for her "extreme couponing" before it became popular. She enjoyed playing cribbage and sheepshead, loved giving hugs and filling a room with her laughter. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her children, Paul (Patrice) Klahn and AmyJo (T.J.) Wahouske; grandchildren, Justin (Vanessa) Klahn, Jack and Morgan Wahouske; great-grandchildren, Alicia, Abel, and Angelo; siblings, Darlene, Ronnie (Linda), Bonnie (Dave), Steven (BillieJo), Pam, and Jenny; and sister-in-law, Evelyn. She is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

A sharing of memories and special music will take place on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend). A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 1st from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
