Janice M. Shaver (nee Plate), age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2016 surrounded by her family at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehab in West Bend. She was born on September 9, 1939 to Harry and Lucille (nee Wisnewski) Plate. Janice enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was with her husband and their daily scenic wildlife rides.

Janice is survived by her loving husband Ron; children Vicki Locke Kopping, Tim (Sandy) Locke, Kelli (Jerry) Locke-Sailer, Tiffini Shaver, Traci (Wayne) Stange, Pam Shaver (Rick Wiles), JoAnne (John) Pfotenhauer, Ron (Lore) Shaver Jr; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; brothers Robert Plate and Garry (Millie) Plate and her dog Tinker. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Janice is preceded in death by her parents, son Lesley, grandson Christopher Locke, Parents-in-law Fred and Ethel Shaver and her first husband Howard Douglas Locke.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 6:00PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend) with Ron Schneider presiding. Visitation will be from 3:00PM until the time of the service at 6:00PM.
