Janice V. Lutz
On Monday, May 19, 2025, our family lost our rock, Janice (nee Krueger) Lutz, age 92. She was born on February 21, 1933 in Theresa, WI to Edgar and Loretta (nee Ustruck) Krueger. Jan married her true love, Dr. Desire (Doc) Lutz in 1957.
Jan grew up on a farm in Theresa. She met Doc when she was looking for a doctor to help care for her mother. After that, they became a team that would go on to help everyone in their path, always putting others before themselves. Jan joined Doc at Lutz Chiropractic and worked hard every day of her life, whether working at the office or working to help anyone around her. Her thoughtful personality and pleasant smile greeted everyone that walked through the door. On a daily basis, she found the time to make meals that would feed an army. All of our friends were always welcome in her kitchen, her home, and at family gatherings. Jan's kindness and sweet, quiet mannerisms have always been her standard. Mom will be deeply missed by many, and she will be prayed for every day.
Janice is survived by her children Chris (Kelly) Schleif of Hortonville, Jeff (special friend Joy), Lynn (Craig) Minsky, Jim (Karen), Jeannie (Duane) Wollner; grandchildren Nicole (Colin) Sinn of Iowa, Molly (Jake) Duame of Minnesota, Tony, Jeremy, Riley (Jichell), Natalie (Eric) Johnson, Isabelle Lutz, Jake (Heather) Minsky, Josh (Belinda) Minsky, Joci (Jordan) Berres, Joe (Katelyn) Lutz, Megan (Zach) Goschey of Illinois, Desirae, Mackenzie and Alexis Wollner; and is blessed to be a great-grandmother to 18 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; sisters Dianne (John) Hron and Geraldine Brandt; sisters-in-law Belle Keough of Missouri and Mary Clarke of Michigan. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Janice is preceded in death by her loving husband Desire, her parents, in-laws Joe and Hazel Lutz, daughter-in-law Sherry Lutz, brother Gerald Krueger, sisters-in-law Elaine Krueger, Yvonne Barraza, brothers-in-law Fr. Gene Lutz and Jimmy Lutz, Harley Brandt, Pete Barraza, Joe Keough, and Bob Clarke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at St. Frances Cabrini (1025 S. 7 th Ave., West Bend, WI 53095) with Fr. Kevin Harmon presiding. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, May 31 st from 9:30AM until 10:45 AM. Interment will follow at Washington County Memorial Park.
