Janice M. Burke, who seemed to us all vibrantly healthy and energetic, was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died peacefully on September 5th at the age of 76.

Janice was a biomedical research scientist in her working life, a resident of both Tucson and the eastern shore of Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin.

Janice is survived by her beloved partner, Doug Johnson, her children Jenna (Carrie Kennedy) Johnson, Megan (John) Beaver, her cherished grandson, Ty Beaver, her loving siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
A Celebration of Life for Janice will be held Monday, September 12 from 4-6pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in her name to Feeding America.
