James "Jim" Joseph Michalowski, age 60 passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at his home with his family by his side. He was born June 9, 1962 in Waupun, WI the son of Dorothy (Przybyl) and John Michalowski.

Jim graduated from Waupun High School, then received his Associates Degree in accounting from Moraine Park Technical School in Fond du Lac. He married Geralyn Ritger, September 15, 1984 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Allenton, Wisconsin. Together they raised one son, Jeffrey. Jim loved deer hunting, golfing, movies, concerts at the State Fair and spending time with his family, friends and his "boys" cats. Jim worked for Mercury Marine and Navico Group.

Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Geralyn, son Jeff (fiancé Meg), mother Dorothy Michalowski, brother Frank (Denise), four sisters, Ann Hull, Jean Schaefer, Mary (Mike) Kroll, Joanne (Jon) Pflieger. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Jim is preceded in death by his father and two uncles, Floyd and Sylvester Michalowski.

Funeral Services for Jim will be at 12:00 pm Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Father Rick Stoffel officiating. Family and friends may gather for a visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
