James "Jim" W. Hansen, 81, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014 at WI Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born in Kewaskum on July 21, 1932 to Arnold and Norma (nee Koerble). He was raised in West Bend and graduated from West Bend High School. Jim served in the Korean War as a radio man and listed as "Radio Man Hansen." He loved his cats and took care of all the neighborhood cats. He was a very charitable man.

He is survived by his brother, Gene Hansen; sister, Phyllis (Donald) Breaker; nieces and nephews: Jeff (Beverly) Hansen, Ronald (Kathy) Hansen, Michael Hansen, Mary (Jeff) Retzlaff, Brian (Karen) Hansen, Scott (Glenna) Breaker and Steve (Betsy) Breaker. He is further survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; niece, Cathy Breaker; and nephew, Gary Hansen.

The Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend) with a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to King Veterans Home in honor of Jim.
