James C. Fischer "Jim", age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at the Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. He was born on July 1, 1935 to Rupert and Hildegarde (nee Weinberger) Fischer. Jim was an Alderman for Mequon, enjoyed being a member of the Mequon Men's Club and the Rotary Club.

Jim is survived by his wife of 34 years Patricia (nee Tank); children Lin, Chris (Jill) and Joe (Sandy) Fischer, Diane Brunette and Stephanie Hall; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother of Irene Moritz, Rosemary McCullogh and Elizabeth Berg. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Ruth Benka, Francis Briglevic, Marie Driefuerst, Virgina Rulo, and brother, Bud Fischer.
