James "Jim" N. Chitwood, age 59, found peace on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at his home in Barton. He was born on March 24, 1958 in West Bend to John and Norma (nee Harris) Chitwood. Jim was a life-long auto mechanic and owner/operator of NJC services of West Bend.
Jim is survived by his mother, Norma; brothers, Gregory (Judy) Chitwood, Steven (Katherine Fehring) Chitwood, Dan Chitwood, Gary (Kathy) Chitwood, Rob (Maggie) Chitwood; four nephews, Corey, Chad, Ryan and Josh; three nieces, Lindsay, Jennifer and Cassandra; special friends, Jacqui, Paul, Ryan and Paulie Tiedt and his best fur-friends Bo and Trixie. Jim is further survived by other relatives, great-nieces and great-nephews, friends and customers.
Jim is preceded in death by his father John, nephew Andrew Chitwood and special dog, Fred and Petie.
A Memorial Service will be at 6:00PM on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor John C. Bass presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home only on Wednesday, October 18 from 4:00PM until the time of the service. Private Interment will be at a later date at Diefenbach's Cemetery.
