James "Snarly" Bernarde, age 73, passed away on August 28, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on May 28, 1947, in Menomonee Falls, WI to Delores and Theodore "Ted" Bernarde and was one of eight children.

Jim is survived by his wife Sandy (nee Hensel) Bernarde, son Jeff (Laura) and granddaughters Olivia and Gabby. He is further survived by his siblings; Sandra (William) Gierach of Germantown, Judith (Eugene) Clark of Pulaski, Richard (Anna) of Kentucky, Charles (Mardell) of Slinger, the late Michael, Susan (the late Lee) Lederhause of West Bend and Dorothy (Dale) Dahlen of West Bend, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm on Friday October 11th at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00-6:00pm. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Menomonee Falls, WI
