Obituary

Jacqueline Beaty 1968-2025

Jacqueline Mary Prabst Beaty, age 57, of West Bend, Wisconsin, was gently welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on August 4th, 2025, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa. Though her time on earth has ended, the love she gave and the lives she touched will forever resound in the hearts of those she left behind.

Affectionately known as Jacquie, was born on June 27th, 1968, in Menomonee Falls to James and Lillian Prabst. Raised alongside her beloved sister Wendy, Jacquie's childhood was filled with the warmth of family. Some of her sweetest memories were made at her Grandma Gretchen and Grandma Lydia's houses. Working in the garden and the gentle wisdom of grandparents who taught her the beauty of simplicity, hard work, and unconditional love. Summers at the family trailer on Rock Lake in Lake Mills were her sanctuary. Surrounded by friends and family, she found true joy and peace. To her, it was always home.

Jacquie's heart for others and her love of learning led her to the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, where she earned her master's degree in special education. Her career as a teacher wasn't just a profession, it was a calling. With patience, empathy, and a light that never dimmed, she uplifted and inspired every student who walked into her classroom. Her impact cannot be measured in years or accolades, but in the countless lives she helped shape with kindness and hope.

June 22nd, 2001, Jacquie married her soulmate, Barry Beaty. In their 23 years of marriage, they built a life rooted in love, faith, laughter, and shared purpose. Their union was a testament to what it means to truly walk through life hand-in-hand, supporting one another through all of its joys and challenges. Becoming a mother was Jacquie's greatest joy. She poured every ounce of her being into raising their four children, Gretchen, Elijah, Lydia, and Eleanor, with tenderness, wisdom, and unwavering love. She was the heart of their home, the gentle presence that held them together, and the guiding light that will forever lead them forward.

Jacquie treasured every moment with her family. Whether exploring the Smoky Mountains or relaxing by the beach, she embraced life with contagious joy and heartfelt enthusiasm. Her laughter filled rooms, her hugs brought comfort, and her steady faith was the quiet strength behind all she did. Her love for Tennessee shone brightly through her unwavering support for the Tennessee Volunteers, she cheered them on with passion and pride, never missing a chance to celebrate her team.

To know Jacquie was to be seen, valued, and loved. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her; in her family, her students, her friends, and the many lives she touched simply by being herself.

She is preceded in death by her cherished parents, James & Lillian Prabst, and her aunt and uncle Robert & Jean Prabst. She leaves behind her devoted husband Barry, their children Gretchen (21), Elijah (20), Lydia (18), and Eleanor (16) Beaty, her sister Wendy (Prabst) Goldbach and Terry Goldbach, and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
