Jack D. Miller, age 82 years of West Bend, passed away Sunday, July 28 at The Lighthouse of West Bend.

Jack was born on July 13, 1931 to Herbert and Margaret (nee Jahn) Miller, in Unity, WI and raised in Random Lake. He was a graduate of Random Lake High School and UW Madison with a degree in Engineering. Jack was in the US Army in the Korean Conflict where he received 2 bronze stars. He retired from the Walbro Corporation in 1996. Jack had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and loved his yard and flowers. He was on the Board of Trustees for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cass City, MI.

Jack is survived by his children Susan (Craig) Thomas, David (Mary), Marc (Patty), and Michele. He is further survived by his grandchildren Tim (Lauren), Daniel and Joseph Burke, great-grandchildren Regan and Dylan, nieces Cathy Timm and Cindy Hartley and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donna Miller, niece Candace Gilmore and sister Letty (Bob) Fulbright.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, August 1 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend. Interment will take place at 1:00 pm at Lincoln Memorial Park of Milwaukee. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, August 1 from 10:00 am until time of service (11:30 am). Memorials are appreciated to The Alzheimer's Assoc.
