Irene Viola Miller (nee Schiefelbein), age 94, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Milwaukee to Richard and Elise (nee Doege) Schiefelbein on January 27, 1927. She graduated from Custer High School in Milwaukee. She married Roland Miller on January 19, 1948.

Irene enjoyed watching sports, especially the Brewers and Packers. Other favorite pastimes included doing puzzles, crocheting, playing Bingo and horse racing, and bowling. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Diane (the late Tom) Graf and Sharon (Greg) Haas; grandchildren, Scott (Angela) PeCore, Nicole (fiancé Preston McCarty) Myers, Ryan (Amanda) PeCore, Megan (Eric) Becher, Brent Haas; great-grandchildren, Ava and Nora PeCore, Wesley and Oliver Myers, Jeremiah PeCore, and Addison and Sloane Becher. She is further survived by step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Irene is preceded in death by parents; son-in-law Jeffrey PeCore; sister Lorraine (Robert) Rummel; sister-in-law Clara Eichman; brother-in-law Harold (Doris) Miller; and niece Barbara (Frank) Higdon.

The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 12 at 11:30 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1044 S Silverbrook, West Bend) with Pastor Oscar Craft presiding. The Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, July 12 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to share a hug and spend time with your family.
