Obituary

Ida T. Motiff (nee Harrison), age 98, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2018 at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center. Ida was born in Mt. Valley Township, Iowa to Henry and Jeanette Harrison on October 21, 1919. The family later moved to Madison where Ida graduated from Madison East High School. She married Ron Motiff in 1950 and worked for Selective Service in the Federal Government until she retired in the 1970's.

She and Ron were avid golfers as members of Maple Bluff Golf Course. They retired to Venice, Florida where they lived in a golf community for 30 years. Ida was also devoted Green Bay Packer fan holding season Packer tickets since 1950. She went to at least one game every year until she was 96 years of age. Being a sports fan, she also enjoyed the Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks.

In 2009, following her husband's death, she moved to West Bend to be near her family. She lived at Cedar Ridge where she made many friends, went on outings and played cribbage. In her last months, she moved to Cedar Bay West Assisted Living where she received wonderful, loving care.

She is survived by her sister, Alice Derer; nieces, Judy (Michael) Nee, Barbara (Tom) Krutza, Lynn (Ken) Kamp and nephew Jim (Sandra) Derer. She is further survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Ida is preceded in death by her husband Ronald, brother Harold (Betty) Harrison, brother-in-law Frank Derer and other relatives and friends.

A special thank you to the Albiero and Gambucci family for their friendship and love to Ida through the years. Another special thank you to Dr. Mosley and staff from West Bend Clinic for the wonderful care they provided to Ida though her years in West Bend.

Memorials are appreciated to the family, for a Make-A-Wish Foundation fund that will be set up in Ida's name.
