Obituary
Hildegard Clara Thomas (nee Weber), age 91, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023. She was born on March 11, 1932 in Theresa, WI to Joseph and Ida (nee Frings) Weber. Hildegard married her love, Ralph Thomas on October 7, 1959 at St. Peter and Paul in Nenno, WI.
Hildegard enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning and spending her time with family. She was an active member at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church being a part of the Ladies Guild and she volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
Hildegard is survived by her daughters: Jean (Ron) Sturtz, Judy (Tom) Stietz and Donna (Mark) Wick, grandchildren: Sarah (Martin) Bazelak and Becki (Cord) Pena, Aaron(Christine) Sturtz , Megan (Andy Grunewald) Sturtz and Britt Sturtz, Bryan (Samantha) Weber and Teresa (James) Talkington, Ryan (Caitlin) Stietz and Chelsea (Kirk Schink) Stietz, Jerald (Jacinta) Wick, Edward (Mary) Wick and Grace (Ricardo) Reyes; her great-grandchildren: Julian, and Freya, Coltin, Alijah, Jasper, and Aubrianna, Konrad, Avery, and Clara, Addilyn, Eli, and Quintin, Logan and Layla, Zellie-Rose, Regina, Magdalena and Charlotte, her sister Dorothy Zingsheim, and brother-in-law Leo Schickert. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Hildegard was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, a granddaughter Annette, her parents, brother Ivan Weber, sister Olive Steger, brothers-in-law and sisters in law.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00AM on Saturday October 14, 2023 at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church (1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg, WI 53012). Visitation will be at church on Saturday, October 14th from 9:00AM until 10:45AM. Interment will follow mass at St Francis Borgia Cemetery in Cedarburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Diabetes Association, Alzheimer's Association, your local FFA chapter or the charity of your choice.
