Henry N. Dummann
Entered into his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the age of 94. He was born in Milwaukee, WI the son of the late Martin and Gertrude (nee Jansen). Henry married the love of his life Lois M. Brugger on November 18, 1950, at Zoar Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Henry began his working career as an architect and then as a milkman. But in his heart, he wanted to serve God, and so Henry started working as a custodian at Walther Memorial Lutheran Church and School; where he later became a Lay Minister and continued to Serve for 41 years. While at Walther, he began a food and clothing pantry and fed many people with food and God's word. Henry was not afraid to let his faith shine for all to see. Whether delivering food or sweeping floors, he was doing it with a servant heart. He loved to sing praises loud and strong, loved to talk and ask questions, was an avid gardener, was a fan of the Packers and Brewers, and enjoyed vacation time in Door County. Most of all he loved being with his big family.
Henry was a devoted husband to Lois M. Dummann for 74 years. Beloved dad of Linda (the late Jack) Dillard, Peter (Darlene) Dummann, Henry (Jean) Dummann Jr., Sandra (Mark) Ruback, and David (Jolee) Dummann.
