Obituary
Helen G. Schneider (nee Voss), age 94, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Eden Vista in Fond du Lac. She was born on September 1, 1929 in West Bend to Herman E. and Marie A. (nee Wiechers) Voss. Helen attended Holy Angels Grade School and later worked for Amity Leather for 29 years. She enjoyed walking and crocheting; she loved to sing and listen to old 40's and 50's music. Helen was a large collector of spoons and thimbles. She had an extensive collection of Avon Christmas plates, collector plates, cut glass bottles and cranberry glass. Helen and her daughter, Barb, every year-would walk in the Bob Cross Charity walk.
Helen is survived by her daughter Barbara A. Schneider (friend Randy) of Van Dyne, WI; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and her beloved grand-pets, Trixie and Versilee. She is further survived by relatives and friends.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, her son Joseph E. Schneider Sr. and her 3 brothers: Joseph, Howard and Charles Voss.
A Private Family Inurment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Washington County Humane Society.
A special thank you to the caring staff of both Eden Vista in Fond du Lac and Heartland Hospice.
