Obituary
Helen A. Giese (nee Bruckert) passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the age of 83 years. She was born on July 17, 1930 in Theresa to Frank and Emma (nee Breuer) Bruckert. Helen married Harvey Giese May 23, 1953 in Theresa.
She dedicated over 30 years to the West Bend Company. After the West Bend Company, she worked at Old Fashioned Cheese Co. for a few years. Helen went on to work at the Mayville News for 15 years. In addition to her work career, she also volunteered at Bethesda in Watertown.
Helen enjoyed fishing, playing dart ball, play a good game of sheepshead, and supporting her Milwaukee Brewers. She was also skilled in crocheting, knitting, and taught many others how to as well.
Helen is survived by her siblings Virginia Feucht, Peter (Eugina), Marion Krieser, Rosie Henning; sisters-in-law Rita Bruckert and Theresa Bruckert. She is further survived by her special friends Harold and Eileen Ramthun, Ken and Carol Ramthun, Rosie and Rich Reindl, and Cathy Ramthun; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Harvey; parents Frank and Emma Bruckert; brothers Gilbert and Ralph Bruckert and two brothers in infancy; brothers-in-law George Feucht, Ken Krieser, and Eli Henning; special friend Harry Ramthun; and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:45 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr. in West Bend. A Funeral Service will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor John Learman presiding. Private interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Theresa.
