Hattie Ann Demerath (nee Walders), passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the age of 84.

Hattie was born in Milwaukee to George and Alice (nee Chadwick) Walders. She was a graduate of Rufus King High School, class of 1952. Hattie married Leonard Demerath on August 15, 1959 in Milwaukee at the Church of the Incarnation. She loved to read and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Hattie is survived by her husband Leonard, children Lisa (Jeff) Szukalski, Denise Palick, Jeffrey (Beverly) Demerath, grandchildren Heather, Sarah, Bryan (Rita), Chaz, Jasmine, Dominic, Tierney (David), Morgan, great-grandchildren Skylar, Caleb, Jax, Charles and Vincent. She is further survived by her sisters, Beverly Rapelje, Carole Esser, son-in-law Chris Dolan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, daughter Michelle Dolan, and 6 siblings.

A Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike Koebel presiding. Visitation will be at on Friday, May 18 at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until time of service (3:00pm).
