Harry W. Heiden Sr., 85, passed away of a broken heart to join his wife of 58 years, Eileen, on Sunday, Mar. 8, 2015. He was born in Milwaukee on July 2, 1929 to Harry and Margaret (nee Orth). He graduated from Rufus King High School and then served in the US Navy on the USS Spokane. He enjoyed gardening, watching birds, and polka dancing. He was active in the American Legion Post #472 Bell-Behrens and VFW Post #3358 Zunker-Held.

Survived by children: Donna Marie (Fred) Sternke, Harry Heiden Jr., Thomas Heiden; grandchildren; Kristy (Kevin) Hackbarth, Kelly (Adam) Krebs, Katie Lyn (Eric) Holl, Forrest, Taylor, Kristen, Zachary and Ryan Heiden; great-grandchildren; Alyssa Krebs, Jordan Hackbarth, Connor and Brandon Holl; sister, Geri (Tom) Losinecki; two sisters-in-law: Esther Just and Helen Karpinski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife, parents, foster child Daniel Harold, sisters and a brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church (200 E. Washington Street Slinger, WI 53086) on Friday, March 13, 2015 at
12:00 PM with Father Richard Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will take place at the new St. Peter's Cemetery in Slinger with Military Honors. Memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association (620 S. 76th Street, Suite 160 Milwaukee, WI 53214-1599).
