Harold E. Ooton, age 71 years of West Bend, formerly of Ontario, WI, passed away on February 14, 2016. Harold was born on February 5, 1945 to Elbert and Lucille (nee Evans) Ooton. He was raised in Ontario, WI and was a graduate of Brookwood High School, class of 1964. Harold married Judith (nee Hansen) on February 20, 1971. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and later was a welder at A.O. Smith Corporation. Harold enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, being with his grandchildren, vacation out west to see the mountains and going to the casinos.

Harold is survived by his wife Judy, daughters Tammy Olson and Wendy Smith. He is further survived by his grandchildren Fischer Olson, Amelia Olson, Kaden Smith, Griffin Smith, Evan Smith, brother Donald Ooton, sister-in-law Delores Ooton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his grandmother Grace Evans, father Elbert Ooton and mother Lucille Ooton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:30 am at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. 8th Ave., West Bend) with Father Gerald Brittain presiding. Visitation will be at the church only on Saturday, February 20 from 9:30 am until time of mass (11:30 am).
