Glenn J. Bettenhausen of West Bend, WI., entered into eternal life on Friday, November 22, 2013. Glenn was born to the late Frederick and Sylvia (nee Subbert) on May 11, 1926 in Manhatten, IL. He then Married Marion G. (nee Schneider) on October 11, 1952 at Garden Homes Evangelical Lutheran Church of Milwaukee.

Glenn was Born and raised in Manhatten, IL and graduated Peotone Community High School with the class of 1944. He attended Gallagher School of Business earning a degree in business administration. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a payroll clerk for 39 years retiring on December 1, 1986. He was an avid gardener and loved to travel abroad. He was a member of Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Glenn is survived by brother, Roger of Manhatten, IL and sister, Eunice Kroll of Bradley, IL. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Marion; brother, Don Bettenhausen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pat Bettenhausen, Henry Kroll, and Herbert (Ethel) Schneider, Myrtle Schneider and traveling pal, Bill Doehling.

The Funeral Service for Glenn will be held on Tuesday, November 26th, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran Church (462 Meadowbrook Dr., West Bend, WI 53089) with both Pastor Joe Fisher and Pastor Christopher Raffa officiating. The visitation will be at the church on Tuesday, November 26th from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park of Brookfield at 2:00 PM.
