Gertrude "Trudy" Wamsley (nee Droege), 98, went to her heavenly home on April 7, 2018 at the Kathy Hospice in West Bend. Trudy was surrounded by her family at the time of her death. Trudy was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 24, 1919 to the late Martin and Clara (nee Baumann) Droege. While raising her family, she lived in Texas, Alabama and Georgia but eventually came back home to Wisconsin and settled in West Bend until the time of her death. The most important things in Trudy's life were her faith in God and her family.

Trudy is survived by her children, Trish (Richard) Carlberg of Dripping Springs, TX; Linda (Ron) White of Tyler, TX; Rick Wamsley of Indianapolis, IN and Joanne Goschey of West Bend, WI; grandchildren, Michelle Carlberg, Stephanie Carlberg, Kevin White, all of Texas. Mark Wamsley and Jamie (Jon) Juech of West Bend. Timm (Audrey Whitlatch) of Milwaukee and Brittany (Cory) Graham of West Bend. Also 8 great-grandchildren including Hunter and Jaylee Graham who brought great joy to her life in the past few years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother in law, Ruth and Donald Homuth. Her daughter-in-law, Lisa Wamsley and son-in-law, Terry Goschey.
