Gerald Passer "Jerry", age 78, found peace on Sunday, October 19 surrounded by family in West Bend. He was born on February 1, 1936 on the family farm in Jefferson County to Hugo and Ethel (nee Schmidt) Passer. Jerry was raised in Whitewater, attended Whitewater University, and spent most of his adult life in Milton. Jerry was a member of the Army National Guard and served the Rock County Sheriff's Department for 16 years.

Jerry loved the outdoors; including gardening, hunting and fishing. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and he enjoyed watching the games with his grandsons.

Jerry is survived by his children Scott (Sue) Passer, Bill Passer, Julie (Tim) Dehring, Josh (Brittany) Passer; grandchildren Casey (Jamie), Corey, Carey, Carley, Chaney, and Sam, Max and Lily Dehring; siblings June Freiberg; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Hugo and Ethel (nee Schmidt) Passer.

Private services will be held by the family.
