Gerald C. Kuehn, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. He was born in Barton on October 20, 1927. He served in the US Navy during WWII from 1945 – 1948. He worked for Washington County Highway Department for 13 years and West Bend Transit for 22 years. Jerry enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Janet (nee Cooper); brother, James Kuehn; daughters, Pamela (Robert) Beach and Lynn (William) Gonwa; son, Thomas (Jill) Kuehn; stepchildren, Debra (Daniel) White and Daniel (Sue) Martens; grandchildren, Sarah (Curt) Schroeder, Kari (Jeff) Koepsell, Ryan (Patty) Gonwa, Joseph Kuehn, Lindsay Kuehn, Ashley White, Alex White, Mallory Martens (fiancé Spencer), Morgan Martens; and five great-grandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Cecelia (nee Leitheiser) Kuehn.

The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive) at 2:00 PM with Rev. J. Eric Kirkegaard presiding. The visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27th from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Military Honors will take place immediately following the service with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Peace UCC (343 1st St, Kewaskum, WI 53040), Salvation Army (11315 W Watertown Plank Rd, Wauwatosa, WI 53226), or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
