Georgianna Joan Heller (nee Otto), age 85 years, passed away Wednesday November 28, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving children. She was born on July 21, 1933 in Oshkosh, WI to George and Martha (nee Rodencal)Otto. Known by her family and friends as Jana. Jana graduated from Oshkosh High School with the class of 1951. On September 26, 1953 Jana married James L. Heller and began their family journey.

As a child growing up in Oshkosh, she enjoyed ice skating and going to dances with her friends. Her hobbies included camping, especially with her husband and grandchildren, cooking and baking, traveling, music and dancing. She enjoyed being around people and social events with family and friends. Jana loved cooking and organizing family holiday get-togethers. Jana retired from the West Bend School District Food and Nutrition Services after 13 years. Jana was a loving, caring and outgoing person with a wonderful sense of humor. She always thought of others first, making everyone feel welcomed in her home.

Jana is survived by her children; Joseph (Pamela) Heller, Bruce (Nancy) Heller, Mary Lisa (James) Duenkel, Richard (Lauren) Heller and Tracy (Thomas) Klesper, 9 grandchildren; Chelsea and Breanna Heller, Angela and Thomas Heller, Jessica (Shawn) Schmidt, Aaron (Diana) Duenkel, Chance (Samantha) Duenkel, Simon Heller and Trenton Klesper; 5 great grandchildren Kylieanna, Caliya, Ava, Isabella and Jackson. She is further survived by her brother Robert Otto and her canine buddy Charlie, other relatives and friends.

Jana was preceded in death by her husband James Heller, her parents George and Martha Otto, brother David Otto, sisters-in-laws Louise Otto, Carol Otto and Suzanne Rosentrater, brother-in-law Gary Rosentrater, her parents-in-law, Lawrence Heller, Estelle and Lawrence Eisner.

A Funeral Service for Jana will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday December 2nd at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. ) with Pastor Darin Wiebe presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00pm until time of service at 3:00pm. Final place of rest will be at Washington County Memorial Park.
