Gail Marie Brazee (nee Graef), age 75, of Slinger, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at her home. She was born in Milwaukee on July 25, 1949, to Raymond and Emma (nee Wenzel) Graef. Gail was a woman deeply rooted in her faith, and her devotion to her family and many friends was evident in all aspects of her life. She was a constant and enthusiastic presence at her grandchildren's activities, always their biggest supporter. Gail also possessed a remarkable ability to make others feel remembered and cherished, never forgetting a special day and always taking the time to send a thoughtful card. In years past, Gail and her beloved husband, Dean, created many joyful memories boating on the Wolf River in Fremont alongside dear friends. Their shared love for life was infectious, and they could often be found dancing and singing to the timeless tunes of Lionel Richie or Marvin Gaye, a dynamic duo that was truly a sight to behold.
Gail is survived by her adoring husband of 54 years, Dean; her children, Robin (Kurt) Hoffmann and Mike (Kristina); her cherished grandchildren, Madalyn (Ben) Brazee, Michael Brazee Jr., Cale Fedorski, and Emily Fedorski; and her brother, Roland Graef. She is further survived by her siblings-in-law, David (Pam) Brazee, Karen Brazee, and Joy Aleksich, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Emma Graef, and her sister, Gloria Koppelkam. Her siblings-in-law, Ed Koppelkam, Steve Aleksich, and sister-in-law Peggy Graef.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Gail's life will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, May 30, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, located at 799 St Paul Dr. Slinger, WI 53086, with Pastor Benjamin Golisch officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, May 30th, from 2:00 pm until 3:45 pm. Entombment will follow the service at the St. Paul Columbarium.
