Fred R. Wendt "W9ZAG", of Jackson, WI, passed away peacefully at home Friday, November 4, 2016 at the age of 88 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 9, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI to Frederick and Viola (nee Scherr) Wendt.

Fred is survived by his loving wife Joan, of 67 years; adoring children Fred Jr (Diane), Sandra Faull, Donna (Bill) Koehn, Scott (Mary), Susan Holm (deceased)-Tim (Jackie) Holm, Tom (Jodi), Patti (John) Starich, Matt (Connie); 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister Nancy (Neil) Mertz; sister-in-law Eileen Adamczyk. He is further survived by many caring nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
