Frances A. Schumacher (nee Lawton), age 81 years of Germantown, gained eternal life on Monday, May 19, 2014.

Frances was born on August 28, 1932 in Milwaukee to the late Elmer and Katherine Lawton. Frances married her beloved husband, Leroy on December 1, 1951 and they enjoyed 51 years of wedded matrimony before Leroy's passing in 2003. Frances retired from Briggs & Stratton after 25 years of service. Frances loved her morning mocha Frappuccino, spending time with her family and playing a friendly game of cards or bingo.

She is survived by two children, Suzanne (Mike) Heili of West Bend and Jeff Schumacher of Neillsville; eight grandchildren, Jonathan (Melissa) Heili, Jason Heili, Melissa (Dan) Kedinger, Sarah (special friend Michael) Schumacher, Katie (fiancé Steve) Schumacher, Amy (James) Bialzik, Collette (Nur) Burba and Robert (Michelle) Schumacher; fifteen great-grandchildren; her dear nephew Ron (Jean) Schaefer and other friends and family. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Katherine Lawton; parents-in-law George and Isabelle Schumacher; husband Leroy; son Robert; all of her five siblings.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend) on Thursday, May 22, 2014. A Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will take place Friday, May 23rd at 11:00 am Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.
