IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frances
Kiley
September 23, 1937 – February 17, 2025
Frances Elsie Kiley (nee Bukoske), age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025 at The Pavilion at Glacier Valley. She was born on September 23, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI to Frank and Ruth (nee Reise) Bukoske. She enjoyed spending time with her mother, Ruth (Betty) Bukoske and their pets. She was especially proud of her family and the quality time spent with her husband, Richard, raising their five children. She always spoke highly of her career and was grateful for her time in the workforce. She loved to host parties and was known for her cooking. Her little basement bar served as a place for singing, dancing, amazing food and all the wonderful friends and family you could imagine. She traveled the country with her boisterous children and grandchildren and loved visiting historic monuments along the way. Her grandchildren have fond memories of learning every song on the 100 proof hits box set while traveling with her. She liked to play the piano and sing on occasion. She also liked to challenge herself with crossword puzzles and Jeopardy, though her intelligence made these things hardly difficult. As time wore on, she preferred solitude over company but that never stopped her from lending an ear or a hand to ease others burdens. She will be missed for her smile, the way she sang Happy Birthday, as well as her kindness, acceptance, and neutrality.
Frances is survived by her children, Kenneth R. (Pattie) Kiley, Kathy R. (Jeff) Wilson, Karen R. (Gary Schultz) Kiley, Kore R. (Dino) Cresci, and Kelly Rey (Danny Kaiser) Kiley; grandchildren; Joshua Giaimo, Andrea Redenbaugh, Vincent Giaimo, Rebecca (Paul) Schnicke, Crystal (Dan Wegner) Cresci, Leann (Marshall Poe) Wilson, Joseph (Emily) Cresci, Elizabeth Kiley, Frank Kiley, Keyara May Kiley Kaiser and Kellsee Kiley; 13 great-grandchildren, a great great granddaughter and several step-grandchildren.
Frances is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard, her parents, and her siblings Janet (Cyril) Martin and Timothy (Deanna) Buskoske.
A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery (614 E. Howard Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53027).
