Francella "Fran" Bonnell (nee Dietsch) passed away Thursday August 7, 2018 at the age of 91 years at Cedar Community. She was born on December 9, 1926 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Francis and Florence Dietsch. She was raised and brought up around Milwaukee. On June 2, 1951, Fran married Donald Bonnell and began her family. The couple later moved to Hartford in 1961. Fran was an avid seamstress, knitter and loved bowling and her family. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary for 50 years. She lived her life just the way she wanted and she wanted a party to celebrate that… so a party it is.

Fran is survived by her daughter Barb Wagner, her grandchildren; Aimee (Jim) Stommel and Daniel (Theresa) Wagner, her great-grandchildren; Carter, Cora and Catrina Stommel and Jaidan and Kaitlyn Wagner, her extended family; Lori and Tony Alvarez, Vincent, Chelsea and Mateo Alvarez, Blake and Emilee Alvarez and John Ritger, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, her son Patrick, all of her brothers, and sisters and brothers-in-law.

A Celebration of Life for Fran will be held from 1-5:00pm on Saturday September 8th at Dave's Lanes (218 Main St Hartford). Gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00-5:00pm at Dave's Lanes.

The family would like to thank Dr. Moretti and the Eye Department at Aurora in Hartford and so many people at Aurora Hospital in Hartford, Froedtert, St Agnisian and Cedar Community that helped us navigate Mom's journey to get her settled.
