Obituary

Our hearts are extremely shattered and broken due to the loss of Faye Ann Ruth (Mayer) Schneider on December 7, 2025 who passed away unexpectedly, and way too soon.
Faye Ann was born on March 25, 1968 and resided in Richfield, WI her entire life. Faye was the youngest daughter of six children to the late Howard and Anny (Fiedler) Mayer. Faye graduated from Slinger High School Class of 1986. She worked for more than 20 years at the Chandelier Ballroom in Hartford. Faye was married to her beloved husband, Andrew Schneider for over 37 years and they have 3 loving children; Nathan (Macy); Jozi; Danyel and one grandson Axle Andrew Schneider.
Faye was the youngest of 6 siblings. Barbara (the late Phillip) Middleton; Carolyn (the late James) Kintopp; Darlene (the late Michael) Scott; George (Patricia) Mayer and Evelyn (Allen) Zimpelman. All who miss her way too much.
Faye is further survived by her mother-in-law Diane Schneider, brothers-in-law Walter, Jr.; Matthew (Sheri); and Timothy (Becky) Schneider. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, “adopted” mother of many and other relatives and many friends. Predeceased by father-in-law Walter Schneider, Sr., her parents and many pets.
Faye was the current President of the Washington County Coney River HCE (Homemakers) and the Treasurer of the County HCE Program which to her was to be a lifelong commitment. Faye enjoyed traveling the world with her daughters, watching crime scene programs but most of all spending time with her cherished husband and family until grandson Axle came along-then you can read between the lines. Faye was the most dedicated, particular and OCD person when it came to cleaning and setting the Chandelier for any event and preparing for any celebration at their house. Her motto was “the people deserve the best I could provide them.” Faye is irreplaceable and anyone who met her should consider themselves lucky as we were fortunate to love her, although for far too short of a time.
Visitation will be at the Chandelier Ballroom on December 16, 2025 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by the service at 6:15 p.m. with Pastor Ben Golisch officiating. Private burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
In lieu of flowers please direct any memorials of your choosing or the Chandelier Ballroom, 150 Jefferson Avenue, Hartford, WI 53027 in Faye’s memory.
