Emanuel Winkler passed away Friday October 3, 2014 at his residence at the age of 85 years. He was born on April 10, 1929 to August and Emilie (nee Renz) Winkler in Kohilno, Wolhynien. Emanuel was a retired mason from the Bricklayers Union Local #8.

Some of Emanuel's interests were hunting, fishing, speaking 4 languages, spending time with his family and he was known as a people person.

Emanuel is survived by his wife Hildegard; his children: Klaus (Donna) and Elroy. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Melissa (Michael) Noonan, and Kristine (John) Gehring; great-grandson Colin Noonan, 3 sisters: Else (Max) Knull, Eda and Irma, sister-in-law Erna Deske, nieces, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend). Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 10th from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park.
